I have been on Errin for two months and I can't stop bleeding. I'm 49 and not menopausal yet. Dr. took out my IUD and put me on Errin because I smoke. I have one week a month without bleeding. Is this normal with this pill? Is there an alternative to Errin so that I will not spot for 2 week and heavy bleed for 1 week. It is making me very frustrated.

Unfortunately Progestin only pills can cause this, try to bear with it for 2-3 months (if possible, I know it's awful) it takes time for your body to adapt to the new regime.
Why did you have you have your IUD removed? What about Mirena coil instead?
