I've only just began taking this drug and I'm already questioning every resource: Is it worth it?
I am 16 and being 16 I don't want to gain weight (big issue for me).
In my own opinion I have severe anxiety and I found that valium treated that fantastically but they won't keep me on it. My therapist is much more on my side than my psychiatrist who is a complete ******* and wants me to go into an adolescent psychiatric ward for an inpatient stay.
The thing is valium works for me. It does everything. It makes me normal.
Why in the f*ck should I continue to take these seemingly awful 0.5mg (twice a day) pills when I could just have myself a lovely life-saving diazepam addiction?
Please excuse my incoherent literature it's devoured from my incoherent speech and disorganized thought.
I don't hallucinate or feel delusional under the effects of the diazepam (which they're about to stop) either, all the psychosis comes from stress for me.
I have only been on all/any of these meds for about five days by the way.
Somebody help or advice me?
I'm 16; I'm lost. And undiagnosed.

I'm a year younger than you. I take 0.5mg of Risperidone with 20mg of Prozac. It's not working for me either. [Frown] Sorry to hear you're having trouble with it too. I suggest getting a different psychiatrist if you're not happy with this one. Hopefully your parents will understand.

getting a really sincere talk with your parents might help you a lot i was on 1mg
RISPERDAL and PROZAC and VALIUM. I had made a search on the net I printed the results to my parents.. i talked that this might bring a reall mess into my brian.. and that it might cause me to become mad in the long run.. i pleaded them to change my psychiatrist...
you should try the same...
