I am on Risperdal (0.5mg) at night after severe depressive episode. This was prescribed with my new Lamictal (currently up to 50 mg per day), and when the Lamictal kicks in my MD will d/c the Prozac (currently 40 mg per day). This is in addition to Ativan and Ambien (both to be used only as needed).
I feel terrible--perhaps it's because I'm simply on the fourth day of use. The Prozac and Ativan have been in use for years, and with this last depressive episode the MD decided to work with Risperdal/Lamictal since Prozac had probably stopped working. Is anyone else on an odd combination of medications, or is this odd? I'm terribly irritable mid-morning, but after a nap I'm okay. Still crying quite often. Would be interested in any feedback.
