hi i have a 12 yr old son with adhd he is on 0.25 mg risperidone for the last 4 weeks. we noticed a great difference straight away for the first time in 12 yrs i have a child who is laughing and happy (behavoir is not always acceptable but at least he is happy. the only problem is he is asleep at 8pm but is very tired from 6pm which doesnt let him have a social life which would help him improve his relationships with his peers

Give him his dose at night instead of in the morning, that way he will sleep well and not wake up tired. He may get tired within an hour after taking the medicine though
