I have been taking Risperidone for about three weeks, and I haven't had any coke cola for a that amount of time. Because I drank so much soda before, I now get headaches and crave coke (it doesn't help that my family likes coke cola a lot), but I know I'm not supposed to take risperidone with soda or tea-does that mean when I first take the dose, or while I'm on it?
Also, I hear voices and feel the people in the late afternoon, and I only take one 2mg dose at night, should I cut the pill in half and take one at night, one at noon? Is it normal to still feel like I can take other people's feelings away from them and like there are people inside me before I take my nightly dose?

as far as I can tell from the patient info leaflet, you shouldn't take your dose with tea or fizzy drinks - it says either orange juice or black coffee. But it doesn't say you can't drink coke at all.
If you're taking your meds at night you should be okay to have a coke in the morning. Although, after three weeks off the coke you won't be having any physical withdrawals, they are from the caffeine and sugar and the headaches should only last a few days. Maybe if you've managed to stay off the coke for three weeks now, you should try giving it a miss all together

heh. Okay, I will not drink coke altogether...'cept for special occasions...I love coke cola, I can't go without it forever
