My boyfriend is having trouble with nightmares since taking respiridol. He thinks he has increased problems with racing thoughts on this med. I thought it was supposed to help that?Are thes things a dosage adjustment could help?

Hello. I am not sure if this will be much help or not, but I also experienced terrible nightmares on this med. A lower dose may help, but if he is only taking it for help with sleeping, maybe a new med might be better. I would suggest talking with his doctor and asking for a med change if he is already on a low dose.
