I am desperate to know if Risperdal could cause hair loss and hirsutism I feel horrible I know it causes ammenorhea .It also makes me horrendously depressesd

Hello, I am 25 and i have been taking risperdal (1mg 2x a day) for the past five months. I have recently found two bald patches starting to appear on my head and dont know wether to put it down to risperdal or not! My hair is really thick and im not receeding or anything! I am also feeling really depressed which i DO believe is down to risperdal.

Hi my lil brother is 16 years and was involved with the drug "p" OR also known as "ice" . My brother was experiencing hullisinations and irregular heart beat.
I think this is why his doctors prescribed Respridome for the hulisinations and Loranzepam for the anxiety...but should I be concerned if my lil brother describes the above side effects mentioned in the above post..eg:muscle stiffness?

my son who is 14 was given resperidone 0.5mg for 1 week and then 0.5 mg twice daily .we noticed when he took 2 doses he had swelling around face and eyes got in touch with doctor and he said reduce back down to one dose ,which i have done his face seems to be better now

when i was on risperidone i suffered these awful side effects.
weight gain. increased appitite. my boobs got bigger. my chelestoral was VERY high. my prolcatin was raised.
so a word from the wise, don't take it. i didn't like this one bit and i'm currently fighting my doc now.
