Ativan is a difficult drug to get off of.

Depends on the dose for example if a person is taking 3mg of this drug you would have to go from three to two a day for three days to one for four days.

Your gonna feel like a drunk since this drug makes you feel like an alocolic.

I have gotton off of it after three years for stree

I feel as though a cloud has been lifeted i feel better my vison if clearer and i am glad i got off them

I m still feeling the affects but there not as as bad

Go to your dr get him/her to help you thru this you will feel like crap for awhile but in the end you will feel much better

I hope this provides some insight for all of us who suffere from this addicitve drug

Just remember there is hope and light at the end of the tunnel i know i have been there

God bless

I'd just like to point out that not everybody gets addicted to benzodiazapines. I've been taking Lorazepam as needed for about four years, and that varies from 0.5 mg about once a week to 1mg or more for a few weeks straight. I have no problem going from the higher dose to no dose at all.

Everybody's different. One person's poison (which so many people on these kind of boards are quick to call a drug that they personally had a problem with) is another person's miracle drug. Please don't be so quick to slam a dru that didn't work for you, but may work wonderfully for someone else.
