I've been having panic attacks for a while now... so i decided to try lorazepam. 1mg. I'm kind of big guy (6'3" 300lbs. so I took 3.
I had read a bunch of stuff about the little buggers, but didn't see anything about hallucinations while taking them. I mean, I've spoken to my pc monitor, and he was originally intended to be an animatronic chameleon, but the lab was shutdown, and they were reconstructed as computers. I'm sorry for my incoherence, but I m having a rather wild ride with the lorazepam. I take it this is not normal?
***This post has been edited profusely, because I now realize how stupid I sounded last night. I apologize, and assure you, I won't be acting that way again. I did experience the hallucinations (talking to Buddha, seeing "into" the screen, etc), but I didn't intend to make an *** of myself. All I seek are answers, because if THIS is what I can expect from Ativan, then I think I'll take them back to the doc.***

You weren’t by any chance smoking pot at the time, were you? I’ve had some weird, yet not altogether unpleasant (though other’s might disagree in my place) experiences with the two together, but never with Lorazepam on its own. Biochemistry isn’t like math, and you may well get 1+2=orange, or some such thing.
If you took 1mg with nothing else in your system and had that reaction, I’d suggest talking to your doctor, because that really isn’t right, especially on a fairly low does like that.
