Been taking Lisinopril for about 3 years. Prescribed 5mg/daily. Found that it made me feel lousy, headache, dizzy, fatigued. Cut in half and took half in a.m., half in p.m., then cut in fourths and take it in small doses throughout the day. It works well and doesn't cause the high degree of side effects when whole dose is taken. Sleep isn't that good though. Still able to function sexually, much better than when on Atenolol (beta blocker.) I guess there's nothing out there that doesn't have some side effect...

SOS!!! PLEASE HELP!!! NEUROLOGICAL MESS--UNEXPLAINED SPASTICITY--LOSING MOBILITY!!!!!
About 5 years my husband started on lisinopril and began with with burning feet which progressed to tight muscles in his calfs and then progressed to his thighs and trunk.
This tightness (spasticity) includes brisk reflexes. Recently he has lost his grip with his hands and now has the spasticity in his arms. It is very difficult to walk. 3 months after taking lisinopril the symptoms began and he got off the med. There were no changes however, symptoms did not progress, so he got back on for 5 years until a 4 months ago. Now no increase in disease however, no reverse either. Anyone out there who can help--do you think this is lisinopril? How can we find out?

I have been on it for 2 months since I was diagnosed as having Myocarditis (infection of the heart), at least that is what they "think" happened because they cannot be 100% sure of anything. Anyway, ever since I have been on Lisinopril, my hands and feet tingle and sometimes feel numb. This even happens when I am sleeping and wake up several times a night to move around and get my blood flowing again. I get tingling in my feet after I complete my workout on the elyptical machine. My hands go numb while riding my bike. I am an active person and working out is not an option. But so far my doctor wants to keep me on it until Dec when I can go in for a stress test, which she feels I will pass with flying colors. But so far my Dr says my heart is perfect and have had a battery of tests to include a heart catheter, two echo cardiograms, a number of EKGs, and my blood pressure is perfect if not even a little low. It is driving me crazy.
