I was taking 4 mg of Mavik for several years. Quite recently, my doctor changed my medication to 40 mg of lisinopril. I had a worst time with ther dry cough when taking the Mavik. Right before I changed medication, I had developed a hoarseness that has left my voice scraggly. I must clear my throat each time before speaking. My throat isn't sore, just dry-like. Has anyone experience this. My blood pressure ranges from 150/90 to 133/77. I take 40 mg in the morning to get these readings throughout the day. When I take by blood pressure, first thing in the morning, before taking the medication, it reads 198/96. What's up with this?
