Anyone noticing side affects with Enalapril? I'm taking it for a couple of weeks and awake from either sleep or 'naps' feeling drugged, other little side effects too, and would like to hear other's experiences. Thanks Doesn't seem like anyone posts here but would love to have an ongoing discussion about this medication if anyone else would. I've been taking ENALAPRIL (10 mg)/HCTZ (25 mg) for the past couple of years, and let me tell you, boy has it been fun.
I'm a pretty healthy guy, but this stuff always puts me out for about an hour. Then I have to pee like a racehorse for about 2 hours from the HCTZ kicking in.
Otherwise, seems to work just fine. The only problem I have currently is that the medicine is hard to get off. My blood pressure has been doing relatively fine for the past 4 months, and I discussed with my doc about getting off the meds. The only problem I have is my legs start cramping up when I stop the enalapril.
