I'd be interested to any information on this as I was prescribed Fluoxetine today and I am a smoker. Perhaps I should just quit...the cigarettes!

i was prescribed fluoxetine this week and the doctor didn't mention about the tobacco, I'm a smoker, but don't think I can give that up as well as the booze at the moment.

I was prescribe with it this morning. Before doing so, the doctor asked me if I smoked, which I do and she didn't mention anything about it although I only do smoke 5 a day.
