Hi All I am on my 7th day of taking floxetine and I feel a kind of warm feeling inside, a bit like when you are in front of an open fire on a winters night with a whiskey in your hand. That's great as it is a long time since I felt like that. Especially as I have had 2 abortions, 2 failed relationships and was made redundant in November, have had to sell my house and have moved in with a friend. Sorry if it sounds like moan moan moan!!! However the thing is that I am so tired all the time and am lacking concentration. This is really difficult as I have just set up my own business so I need all the energy I can get. Has anybody else felt like this. I am really hoping that it will pass as I want to feel strong and confident like I used to. The thing is I am not sure if I have bi-polar as well as I find that I can get really aggressive at certain times in the month. Any comments would really help so that I am able to move forward.

I too am on my 7th day. I feel tired also. I did do before taking Floxetine but was not sure if it was due to depression or one of my many symtoms possibly caused by a PFO (Patent Foreman Ovale - hole in the heart) causing numbness down my left side, tingling in hands and feet, fuzzy vision and heart flutters...etc. Dr's not 100% sure if PFO is the cause or could still be MS. After going through a divorce, becoming ill, my daughter being beaten up and bullied. I fought through all of that. I met a new man and we got a lovely house together. Then you would think I would be happy....oh no depression hit me like a brick. Sobbing at any opportunity. Not wanting to do anything. Feeling paranoid. Wanting to be held but not being able to stand it. Grrrr Angry, mad, frustrated...etc. My illness getting worse....now I'm moaning! I hope all that goes away including the tiredness. And I can just get on with coping with my illness. That's enough at times. I hope your tiredness passes it could be a side effect of the tablets...which may go off after a couple of weeks. Fingers crossed.....

I am on my 14th day and I am more tired than I was on my 7th. I have a splitting headache and feel a bit spaced out. Not sure this is normal as I thought side effects should be gone by now.... :-( Not really been much of a help so far, but still hopeing things will change soon..... Anyone let me know how long it took before you had any improvement please.....
