Hi There,

I am new to this board, i was prescribed prozac a few weeks back although I decided to try St John's Wort first. Can't say I am noticing any change, so now thinking of giving it a go!

I already suffer from pigmentation problems on my face, which I believe does not help with my mild depression. However when I saw skin rashes on the side effects and increased sensitivity to light that was it, I would be more than devistated to make my skin worse. I just wondered if anyone had suffered rashes etc from this.

Many thanks for any help.
Chloe

Hi Chloe, I am new to the message boards too. I am complaining of a rash. Mine is on my back!

I have been on the meds for 9 days now. My first night after taking the pills, I developed a hellish cold and spent the following two days in bed. I still have the cold, which could very well be coincidence with just starting the meds, but it is lingering and then all of the sudden the rash breaks out a few days ago.

My rash started as just a few bumps, now has grown to be about the size of a baseball, with a mini-ball growing about 6 inches away from it. Two spots now. i go to back to the doctor in the morning to see if I should stay on it.

Has yours worsened?

Best, Jennifer
