hi i've been taking fluoxetine for 12 weeks and i think that the level of it in my blood is too high. I feel sick, queasy, generally feel unwell, legs and arms ache, inability to sleep, waking up in a hot sweat and feel anxious. I've tried upping my dosage but this just makes it worse. My doctor is attributing all of these to me being anxious and that i am causing it myself. Has anyone else felt like this?

I was on fluoxetine for 4 1/2 years before taking myself off of it. I remember when I first started taking it that I was sick for the first 3 weeks and then I started to slowly feel better. My psychiatrist started me on 20mg and slowly upped my dosage to 60mg. What dosage are you on? Did your doctor start you off slowly and gradually increase your dose? To me, it sounds like you're still suffering from side effects of the meds and at 12 weeks, this should be gone by now.
