After running out of sulfasalazine for a week or two before my new supply arrived in the mail, I discovered I no longer had arthritic pain. As a result, I took no pills even though they had arrived by mail, and it has now been six weeks since I took any sulfasalazine, and I am pain free!! However, I have now broken out with a few pimply looking rash marks around my nose (the dermatologist says it is Rosacea), and I'm wondering if it is because I stopped taking sulfasalazine. I'm planning to start taking one 500mg tablet daily starting June first to see if it will get rid of the pimply looking stuff. Have you ever heard of any experiences similar to mine? Thank you.
