I have received numerous rituximab treatments over the past 6 years for non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The only trouble I've had is if they administer it too quickly I have an allergic reaction, which they counter with antihistamines. Once the infusion is complete, the only issue is sleep off the antihistamines!

I've had it by itself (the only treatment) and in conjunction with chemotherapy. From my experience, there is no reason to be concerned about trying the drug if it is appropriate for your disease.
